About Combined Heat and Power (CHP)

Combined Heat and Power  (CHP) generation is the generation of heat and electricity from a single fuel input source. On-site CHP generation produces energy at less than half the cost of national grid tariffs. A CHP plant is essentially an electricity generator with a sophisticated heat recovery system which generates electricity for its client site as well as capturing the heat from generation and delivering this to the client via hot water, steam or hot air.
